FastSupport.com
FastSupport.com is the tool CSCI uses to control our customer's computers remotely when we need to assist them from the office. Use this link if directed by one of our technicians and follow their instructions.
SeaTools
SeaTools is a hard drive diagnostic software program that can determine whether you may have a failing hard drive. It is made by Seagate, but can be used on any brand hard drive.
Ccleaner
CCleaner is a great utility for cleaning up a sluggish computer. It can clean out temporary and junk files, adjust startup programs and clean up the registry.
All of the links below are to the free versions of these softwares. Each one also has a full version that you can purchase for enhanced protection. These softwares can be used alone for light tasks or in conjunction with each other for cleaning a heavily infected system.
AVG Free
AVG Free is a completely free version of AVG's popular anti-virus software. It works well as basic protection against viruses when your only doing light web browsing.
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is a great tool for removing malicious software that is affecting your system.
Super Anti-Spyware
Super Anti-Spyware is good for removing pesky spyware like tracking cookies and pop up ads.
Spyware Doctor
Spyware Doctor is another program similiar to the one above that can find and remove annoying spyware. The link leads to the google pack download page. You can deselect the other parts of the pack if you don't want them.
Ad-Aware
Ad-Aware is useful for finding and removing any other malicious softwares that may be causing pop-ups or other problems.
